What is putty used for?

Our putty is a tool to support hand strength, fine motor control, dexterity, and sensory regulation. It is a versatile tool that can be squeezed, pinched, rolled, and stretched to help improve grip strength, finger isolation, bilateral coordination, and endurance. It also offers a calming sensory experience, making it ideal for regulation activities.

Who can use our putty?

Our putty is designed for children, young people, and adults of all abilities, and is particularly beneficial for:

  • Children developing fine motor skills such as pincer grasp, in-hand manipulation, finger strength, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Individuals with neurological or physical conditions such as stroke, cerebral palsy, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, or Parkinson's disease who are working on hand rehabilitation and functional recovery.
  • Individuals seeking sensory input for regulation and alertness.
  • Older adults or those with arthritis wanting to improve hand mobility and reduce stiffness.

How can I choose the right resistance level?

Our putty is available in six resistance levels, allowing therapists, families, and individuals to select the perfect match for their needs and gradually progress as strength improves. Click on Products for more information.

How should I store the putty?

Keep the putty in its airtight container when not in use. Avoid contact with clothes, carpets and couches. If small debris gets into the putty, remove it manually. Do not wash with water. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain quality.

Is your putty safe and non-toxic?

Yes! Our putty is non-toxic, latex-free, oil free and hypoallergenic, making it safe for both children and adults.

Can I use your putty in a clinic or classroom setting?

Absolutely. Our putty is suitable for clinics, schools, early intervention centres, and home programs. We also offer bulk or clinic packs for therapy practices and educators.

Can I purchase your putty through my NDIS core funding?

Purchasing our putty through your NDIS funding is dependent on how your plan is managed as well as gaining approval from your nominated NDIS contact (Support Coordinator/Area Coordinator). It is recommended that your therapist provides a letter of recommendation and support for approval.

How long does the putty last?

With regular use and proper storage, putty typically lasts 6–12 months. Replace your putty if it becomes unclean or is damaged.
